EYES, 2 pcs

Cut and fix the thread, leaving a long end for sewing. Turn the detail wrong side out
and comb it with the rug brush. Cut it slightly to get achieve the desired shape

BEAK
OPTION 1: POLYMER CLAY MOLDING
Separate a small piece of polymer clay and roll it into a ball. Then roll the top of the
ball with two fingers to get a cone. Press down the base of the cone to make it flat.
Bend the beak and make nostrils with a «needle eye»

Bake the beak in the oven by placing it in the baking sleeve for 20 minutes at 130
degrees. Allow the product to cool completely. Wash your hands with soap.
Take toothpick and cut it in half. Gently smear the flat end of the
toothpick with glue and stick beak to it.
Holding a toothpick, varnish the products with glossy glaze using a synthetic brush. Be careful – don’t touch the product with your hands. Stick the
toothpick into the dishwashing sponge and leave to dry for 12 hours.
Pull out toothpick from product.

OPTION 2: CROCHETED BEAK
If you don’t want to sculpt the beak from polymer clay, then crochet it with a hook 1,5
mm using black mouline threads.

EYES ATTACHMENT
Cut off at least 20 cm (7.8 inches) fishing line and insert into the eye loop.
Reach out the eye to the middle of the fishing line and tie a knot
Use round-nose pliers to flatten the loop. Thread both ends of the line
through the yarn needle. Insert the needle into the location of the eye and lead it out
into the opening of the head. Pull the ends of the fishing line through
the crocheted canvas, stepping back one loop from each other
Tie several knots

Embroider the outline around the eyes using black threads floss in two folds – make
one stitch, divide it into 2 threads, placing one on top and other on the bottom,
tighten the stitch. Separate one thread and fasten with a needle
the thread in two places.
Fasten the thread by tying a knot. Embroider eyelashes.

Cut 2 pieces of the black threads floss about 0.5 cm (0.2 inches) long. Attach to the
forehead and arrange symmetrically, mark with the pins the beginning and end of
the segment. Embroider eyebrows.
Glue the beak with superglue (or sew) below 14th round of the head.

Insert cotter pin into shim. Place cotter pin with shim in the hole head.

OPTION 1: WIRE FRAME
Cut 2 pieces at least 20 cm (7,9 inches) of decorative wire. Step back 5 cm from the
edge and bend the wire using round-nose pliers to form fingers (fingers are about 1
cm long, Roll the two ends of the wire together. Use
round-nose pliers, “flatten” the fingers, leaving a small hole at the end of each finger.

Insert the wire feet into the body between rounds 18 and 19, the distance between
them is approx 7 stitches.
Sew the base of the feet to the body.

OPTION 2: CROCHETED FEET
If you don’t want to make wire feet, then crochet it with a hook 1,75 mm using Yarn
B.

WIRE FRAME TO THE WINGS
Insert the yarn needle into the body at the wings attachment point. Take a piece of
wire (approximately 40 cm – 15.7 inches long). Pull the wire through the body use a
needle. Pull the crocheted wings to the wire
Bite off excess wire and bend the end into a “loop” using round-nose pliers. Trim the thread. Pass the thread through all the loops using the yarn
needle. Tighten and secure.
Move the thread to the base of the win. Sew the wing to the body
Do the same steps with the second wing.

TAIL
Attention! Crochet the tail through back loops only.

SPOTS
For my owl, I embroidered spots with black threads floss, I only used toning to draw
claws on the feet.
OPTION 1: TONING
Attention! Before drawing spots on a toy, first practice on a sample).
For toning, use black acrylic paint for textile and a round 3/0 synthetic paint brush.
To make the spots look as natural as possible, make them of different sizes.
OPTION 2: EMBROIDERY
The spots can be embroidered with black threads of mouline. To embroider a check
mark, you need to make a straight stitch, then insert the needle in the middle 1 row
lower and fasten the thread.

Embroider the spots on the head with straight stitches. Embroider
the check marks on the belly and on both sides of the wings.
Crochet the feathers on the wings around with a 1,5 mm hook:

Attach the thread (that we left earlier) to the upper fold above the eye with sl st.
Crochet 3 loops, attach the thread to the lower fold under the eye with sl
st. Repeat the same steps for the other eye.
Fasten and cut the thread. Try on a hat for an owl

LETTER
Cut a rhombus out of paper according to the dimensions shown in the drawing
below.
Circle the rhombus on the white felt and cut it out. Glue double tape
in the center of the rhombus and fold the envelope.

STAMP
Crochet a stamp with 1.5 mm hook using black threads floss.

Ears And Feathers
The ears are made in fuchsia pink by making little tassels on top op the head.
The easiest way to do this is by cutting some yarn stings and looping them in under a stitch on the head. You can then finish the tassels by knotting a smaller piece of yarn around it.
Embroider the little feathers on the belly in fuchsia pink.
Sew a pink fuchsia wood flower next to the owl’s left ear.
And finally add a wooden button with the word “handmade” on the back.
Congratulations! You’ve finished your cute amigurumi owl!

Decoration Alternatives
If you don’t have a button to decorate your owl with, consider using other cute little ornaments. I have included two patterns for this purpose: a little crochet butterfly and a crochet bow. This way your owl will be the sweetest one out there!

BONUS PATTERN: Little Butterfly!
Chain 8, close the loop with a slipstitch.
Chain 3, 2 dc, repeat (ch 3, 3 dc)*7.
Chain 3, slst in first set of chain 3, slst in second sc.
In the first and second “holes”: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 4 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc.
In the third “hole” crochet 1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, ch 3. Slst in first of the ch 3. Continue with 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc.
In the fourth “hole”: repeat third hole.
In fifth and sixth hole crochet 1 sc, 1 hdc, 4 dc, 1 hdc, 1sc.
In seventh and eigth hole: repeat third hole.
You’ll end up with a “flower” with two different kinds of petals (round and “pointy”).
Fold this flower over, you can do this in different ways.
In a contrasting color chain 11, fasten off. Tie this piece around the folded flower to create the body of the butterfly and cut off leaving some ends as the antennae

BONUS PATTERN: Little Heart Bow!
This pattern is worked in two loops. The stitches that are not worked in those loops are worked into the middle space. This is the part between the hearts.
Round 1: Chain 9. Slst in the 8th chain from the hook and slip stitch into the 1 remaining chain. Chain 8. Slst into 8th chain from the hook. Slip stitch into the middle of the two loops.
Round 2: Slst into the first loop. Into this loop crochet: 4 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 slst, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 2 hdc, 4 sc, 1 slst. Slst into the middle of the two loops again. Slip stitch into the second loop. Repeat the stitches you made into the first loop. Slst into the slip stitch from the previous round in the middle space.

Round 3: Slst into the first slip stitch you made in the previous round. Crochet 1 sc into the next 4 stitches, 2 hdc into the next 2 stitches, 2 dc into next stitch, 1 hdc in the next stitch, slip stitch into the loop.
Continue with 1 hdc, 2 dc in next stitch, 2 hdc in next 2 stitches, 1 sc in next 4 stitches, slst into slst of previous round. Slst into middle space. Repeat round 3 for the other loop (this will form the other heart). End with slst into the middle space.
Round 4: 1 slst in next 2 stitches, 1 sc into next 6 stitches, 2 hdc into next 3 stitches, 1 sc in next stitch, 1 slst on each side of slip stitch from previous round.
Continue with 1 sc, 2 hdc in next 3 stitches, 1 sc in next 6 stitches, slst in next 2 stitches. Repeat round 4 for the other half.
Finish off, but leave a long tail to wrap around the center.
Fold your bow in half length wise and wrap your long tail around the center.

Assembly
When you sew all the parts and edges, we recommend that you always take the threads inside and towards the upper hole that will remain unclosed until the assembly is finished, that way you can tie the threads together and all the parts will be very secure.
1.- Place the safety eyes (without the closure yet) on the knitted eyes. The 12mm ones are for the big owl and the 8mm ones are for the little owl. Put the ends of the knitted eyes outwards and place the safety eyes in the internal angles and opposite to the ends (guide with the images).
2.- Sew the cheeks on the ends of the knitted eyes.
3.-Take the body and place it facing you with the finial to the right. With the help of the safety eyes or the hook, make two holes between rows 8 and 9 counting from the top and leaving 6sc of distance between them (guide with the images). Put the eyes in the holes and put the safety locks inside the body. 4.- Sew the contour of the knitted eyes all around. 5.- Sew the beak between the eyes, between Rnds. 8 and 10 of the body, counting from the top. 6.- Sew the wings to the sides of the body, between Rnds.12 and 18, counting from the top. Just sew the top half of the wing, leave the bottom half unstitched for movement. 7.-He embroiders the Vs that he carries forward with two 8/4 threads of different colors together. Assembly is fairly simple. Start by stuffing the head with fiber fill.  Pin the ears and eye circles in place.  See my picture to see where the eyes should be placed.   The post needs to be pushed through the eye circle as well as the head before attaching the backing.  In my example, I placed the eye post through an opening that is one row away from the center.  When you are satisfied with the placement of all the parts, go ahead and sew the eye circles in place.  Then reach inside the head and attach the eye backings.  Next, sew the ears in place.

Fill the body with polyester pellets until it is about 3/4 full.  Top it off by stuffing the rest of the space with fiber fill. This helps to keep the poly-pellets in place.  Attach the head. There should be a seamless transition at the neck because both the head and body openings have the same number of stitches.  The wings go on next.  I usually sew the beak on last.  You can also use a piece of felt in place of a yarn beak.

Eyes
We knit with a thin cotton thread (I have Yarn Art Begonia, hook No. 1.5) in white:
Into magic ring 3 ch, 12 dc, SL-ST at the end, insert the eye into the ring and only then tighten the thread (I do it because I have big eyes diameter) 2 row: 3 ch, 12 inc from dc, SL-ST at the end.) Rail: (black thread) 6 sc (1 sc in each loop), dial 3 ch, return by chain from ch knitting 2 SL-ST, in the next loop again sc and repeat the procedure (we should get two cilia), then knit another 6 sc.
Fasten the eyes to the body after about 17 rows.
Now we can more densely fill the connected part of the body.
And we continue to knit it:

It should be a flat part, resembling a drop.
Embroider eyebrows.
For the remaining floor loop 31 rows of the torso, tie the top of the pants near single crochet. We will tie the straps to this row, we will do a cross on the back.
We knit the straps ch, on which we return back sc.
Sew buttons.
From yellow felt, cut out a rectangle with rounded edges and make a butterfly out of it.
Cut a small heart and sew on the side on the belly.
